Superyachts travel far and wide so is likely to face threats which could put in danger the security of the crews and guests. One of the most serious threats is the boarding attempts by pirates, terrorists, or other criminals. Therefore, keeping Owners, Captains and crews up to date with the ever-changing threats is essential for their security.
To deal with such threats what is absolutely required is proper knowledge, preparation and training on behalf of the crew. A scripted plan to include actions, procedures and the necessary equipment is vital. It is also important that crew is fully aware of the situation – situational awareness- and dangers of being slack and /or complacent.
This course contains guidance and training for Yacht’s crew so after the course the crew will stand good chances to prevent and deter unauthorized boarding of their vessel.
